The tragedy of life is not aging. It is aging without impact. It is growing older without fruit—realizing your youth was eaten by distraction.

STOP LIVING AS IF YOU CONTROL THE CLOCK

This morning, a sobering thought hit me like lightning:

I’m almost 50.

The grey in my beard now speaks louder than any clock on the wall.

It’s been 28 years since I was an undergraduate.

Where did the time go?

I thought to myself: “If I had gone straight into postgraduate studies, I could have been a Professor by now…” But I lost 12 years wandering, delaying, and being indecisive.

Yes, I should have been a billionaire. Yes, I should have built estates and legacies earlier. But here’s the good news: though I lost years, I’ve learned to walk by seasons, not by trends.

I’ve done what’s natural—marriage, children, career.

I’ve done what’s eternal—ministry, mentoring, leadership, impact.

And what I lost in years, I am recovering by maximizing my seasons.

CLOCK VS. TIME

  1. The clock only tells you the hour.
  2. Time tells you the season—and what that season demands.

This morning, time whispered to me:

"You are in your Good Afternoon. Don’t waste it."

So I made a radical commitment: Before I turn 50, I must become a billionaire—not for vanity, but to fund divine assignments that demand wealth, boldness, and speed.

Destiny honors urgency.

Psalm 90:12

"So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom."

This is not a gentle verse—it’s a heavenly alarm bell.

  1. You cannot waste time and expect wisdom.
  2. You cannot drift through life and expect greatness.
  3. Until you number your days, your years will waste you.
  4. Until you discern your season, your energy will betray you.

Wisdom begins when you realize time is a gift that doesn’t repeat.

TO YOUNG PEOPLE READING THIS… WAKE UP!

You have no grey hairs yet—so you think you have time.

You think success is automatic just because you’re educated or talented.

But hear this:

  1. Seasons don’t wait for sense to come.
  2. Time doesn’t wait for your maturity to catch up.

You party through your Good Morning Season (0–25).

You joke through your Good Afternoon Season (25–50).

And by the time you see your first grey hairs, purpose is already bleeding.

Some waste time scrolling, sleeping, talking, fantasizing… with no urgency to learn, grow, build, serve, or invest.

You think you’re fine—until you meet a 30-year-old already globally established.

You think you’re okay—until life throws you into a room where your excuses mean nothing.

Wake up now!

Cry if you must. Feel the shame if you need to. But don’t stay comfortable in slumber.

You’re not too young to start. You’re just too distracted to rise.

UNDERSTAND YOUR LIFE SEASONS

  1. GOOD MORNING (0–25 years): Learn, grow, gain clarity.
  2. GOOD AFTERNOON (25–50 years): Build, earn, dominate, manifest.
  3. GOOD EVENING (50–75 years): Consolidate, mentor, harvest.
  4. GOOD NIGHT (75–100 years): Rest, reflect, prepare to exit.

What you fail to build in the morning becomes your burden in the evening.

What you waste in your afternoon becomes your regret in the night.

You don’t control the clock, but you must take charge of your season.

The tragedy of life is not aging. It is aging without impact.

It is growing older without fruit, realizing your youth was eaten by distraction.
